Muffin and Cookie are our baby calves. Both boys and very young, only a couple of weeks old.
Our plan for them is to keep them in our farm, eating fresh grass and munching on hay until they are old enough to move away to greener pastures. What we mean is for them to move to another farm where they grow older to the age to be taken to the market.
This is the best way that have worked for us in order to be provided with pasture raised meats coming from animals that have been raised allowing them to have the animal live they should. Cookie and Muffins for us are the providers of this but in a different way, through the sale of those noble animals we will be able to buy from a friend farm the source of protein we need to put in our tables, we still feel we can’t go through the whole processing act, not yet.
